Rules for the Site

To help everyone have an enjoyable stay on our CL Site, we do have a few rules:

  • Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on a lead. This is due to having sheep and nearby game birds
  • The owner shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by the holidaymakers, personal possessions, cars or contents
  • Children under 14 years must be supervised at all times, as this is a working farm
  • Please respect fellow caravaners and be quiet after 11pm
  • All bookings made are subject to the standard certificate conditions of the Caravan & Motorhome Club
  • Breathable groundsheets are to be used if staying for more than 2 nights (to help preserve the grass for other caravaners)
  • No ball games on the CL site (please use the grassed lawn in front of the house instead)
  • No awning heaters – this is due to the inefficiency and it is very likely that the whole CL site electric supply may trip out, due to extra demand
  • We are unable to charge electric cars, due to the limited electric supply, the nearest charge point is at the York Designer Outlet
  • Please recycle as much as possible and take large items of rubbish home – thank you
